1 oz rosehip seed oil
1 oz borage oil
3 oz emu oil
3 oz aloe butter
1.5 oz of beeswax
essential oil to taste
(I like using a combo of sandalwood eo and rose oil)
This recipe makes a ’soft’ butter…if you would like a ‘harder’ butter…add more beeswax OR less oil.
Melt beeswax in a glass measure in a pot of boiling water (double boiler method). When wax is melted…add oils and stir well…heat if necessary to keep mixture in a liquid state. Take glass measure out of boiling water….let cool just a tad. Add essential oils to taste…remember that a little goes a long way.
Fill sterilized container…let cool before putting top on container….I found my pretty glass container at a yard sale!

6 oz oil (I like to utilize a combo of oils: sweet almond, jojoba, emu, hemp, avocado, shea or mango butter, etc.)
1 oz of cocoa butter
1 oz of beeswax
essential oil to taste
(I like using a combo of sandalwood eo and rose oil)
Melt beeswax in a glass measure in a pot of boiling water (double boiler method). When wax is melted…add cocoa butter and melt….when this is melted…add oils and stir well…heat if necessary to keep mixture in a liquid state. Take glass measure out of boiling water….let cool just a tad. Add essential oils to taste…remember that a little goes a long way. If you would like to color your body butters…now is the time to add a little mica or cosmetic grade glitter.
Fill sterilized pots…let cool with the lids off….when cooled…put the tops on the containers on and seal. You can adjust the ‘type’ of body butter….loose or stiff by adjusting the amount of beeswax used.

1 new wash cloth
1 small rubberband
1. Launder a new wash cloth.
2. Open wash cloth on table….roll ends into the center.
3. Fold in half lengthwise.
4. Fold in half again.
5.Apply rubberband to front half of ‘rolls’ to form bunny’s head. Fluff ears….you can apply a pom pom for the ‘cotton’ tail…I prefer not too…then babies will not choke on it if it comes off. Place an icecube in the BooBoo Bunnies belly and apply to booboo….ice will cool the wound…and bunny will calm the child. :O)

2 oz Sweet Almond Oil
1/2 oz Jojoba Oil
1/2 oz Avocado Oil
1/2 oz shea butter OR mango butter
1 oz Beeswax
1/4 pure essential oil (if desired)
Makes approx 30 lip balms…..
Melt Beeswax in microwave in a glass bowl. Melt mango and Shea butters on medium low heat, in a small sauce pan on the stove. Add the sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil. When beeswax is melted (extremely hot) add to the oil mixture (it may solidify when added, just stir until it is all melted). Lower heat, wait a few minutes and add your essential oil. If you want to see how firm your balm is before filling the tubes, place a small amount on a spoon and put in the freezer. Wait 5 minutes, check it. That is how firm or soft your lip balm will be.
Now your ready to fill the lip balm tubes. Use a syringe to fill the tubes. Place lip balm tubes on parchment paper and begin to fill. (You can also use a lip balm holder). If the oils in the pan begin to solidify just reheat gently. We just keep ours on low while filling the tubes. When finished filling the tubes, top them off and cap them. To clean any overfills
use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe them down. Your labels will stick better if cleaned. Makes approx 30. It may take a bit of practice to master filling the tubes with a syringe. Don’t give up just smile and try again!!!
When using pure essential oils or herbs be sure to research them! Be sure to clean out your tubes before using them. Don’t be afraid to experiment!!! Be creative!! Enjoy!!!

I just finished up this one & I’m very pleased with it. I don’t flavor it.
Natural Coconut Lip Balm
25% beeswax (white pastilles)
25% fractionated coconut oil
40% virgin coconut oil
10% nondeodorized cocoa butter
Directions:
I melt the beeswax and cocoa butter in a double boiler. When they are melted, I add the virgin coconut oil and shut off the heat. The last thing I add is the fractionated coconut oil. I use a rubber band to hold 10-20 lipbalm tubes together and a pyrex measuring cup to pour. Two ounces of finished product should fill 10-12 lip balm tubes.
